According to a report by the Russian Satellite News Agency Beijing quoted by Hong Kong’s “Ta Kung Pao”, the Belerast Logistics Center, Moscow’s largest international logistics center planned and constructed by China's Yingkou Port Group and the Russian Railways Corporation, officially started construction.


Li Guodong introduced that in September 2017, the project will complete its planning and adjustment work. At present, the earth and rock project has started. The logistics center plans to build 18 14,000 square meters of warehouses. It is expected that the first phase of the container storage site will be completed in the second half of 2018. At that time, Ganghui Company, which cooperates with Alibaba of Yingkou Port, will have its own cross-border e-commerce logistics and distribution overseas warehouse at the logistics center to meet the needs of Russian citizens to purchase online Chinese products.


Li Guodong also said that since the signing of the project, Yingkou Port and Russian Railways have worked closely on this project. With the support of Russia, China has used the experience of port and station construction management to propose partial amendments to the original overall plan and has been fully affirmed by the Russian side. . In terms of infrastructure, the Russian Railways team also visited China to build large-scale mechanical equipment such as gantry cranes necessary for the site inspections and intends to purchase in China.


According to information from Yingkou Port Group, on November 7, 2016, Chairman Li Hezhong and President Belozerov of Russian Railways Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement in St. Petersburg, Russia, and Yingkou Port won the competition among 11 companies participating in the bidding. Successfully joined the Belerest Logistics Center, the largest international logistics center in Moscow, Russia.


The total investment of the Belerest logistics center project is approximately 18 billion roubles (approximately RMB 2.034 billion), and Yingkou Port has acquired 49% of its equity. The center is the core hub of Sino-European Ban Lie after the cancellation of the railway station in the Fourth Ring Road in Moscow, and it will build 21 China-EU container trains currently operating in China. It will become the largest centralized transfer, warehousing, distribution, customs clearance, and bonded service in the Moscow region.
